Bobby D. Fitzgerald 44, of Battle Creek died Saturday August 5, 2000 at home. He was born in Dayton Tennessee October 18, 1955 to Hershal and Annie (Hackler) Fitzgerald Jr. He has lived in Battle Creek since 1969. He married Roxanne Packer August 28, 1976 in Battle Creek, she survives. Also surviving are sons, Michael P., Damon D. and Bobby D. Fitzgerald Jr., all of Battle Creek; A daughter Theresa Fitzgerald of Battle Creek, six grandchildren; his father Hershal Fitztgerald Jr. of Dayton Tenn; brothers, Danny Fitzgerald of Dayton Tenn, and Donald Fitzgerald of Ohio, and sisters, Caroline Wells of California, Geraldine Newcomb of Tennessee and Virginia Packer of Battle Creek. He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers. Bobby enjoyed building and fixing thing, hunting, fishing, playing basketball and spending time with his grandchildren. Burial at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
