Marianne C. Ball, age 76 of Delaware died Friday, March 09, 2007 at Highbanks Care Center in Worthington.

She was born on July 25, 1930 in Buckeye Lake to the late Elvin O. and Amelia (Crooks) Satterfield. Marianne was a member of the Liberty Christian Church and former President of the PTA in the Columbus Schools. She was a loving and caring person and her family, especially the grandkids, were very important to her. She enjoyed camping, gardening, canning, sewing, and dancing as pastimes.

Survived by Son: David (Laura) Ball of Galena, Daughters: Donna (Jim Sweeney) Knisley of Columbus, Deborah (William) Jenks of Powell, 11 Grandchildren: Lori, Brian, Brad, Brett, Diana (Eric), David II (Jennifer), Donna, Lisa, Jay, Christina, Matthew and 6 Great Grandchildren: Matthew, Cole, Brandon, Chloe, Austin, Isabelle. Sisters: Eileen Pilkington of Sunbury, Bettie Jackson of Centerburg.

Proceeded in death by her husband of 55 years: Homer R. Ball on October 14, 2005 and they were married December 31, 1949 in Campbell County, Ky., 5 Brothers: Edgar, Dwight, Richard, Donald, Robert, 2 Sisters: Faye Shepperd, Dorothy Torgerson.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home SR 3 at 61, Sunbury where services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Minister Hugh Snepp officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery.
