he was the son of Amedé (born in 1883 at Maldegem, Belgium) and Mary Caboor. His father Amedé came to America in 1906 sailing on the SS Finland.
He entered the service from Illinois.
Albert served in the 8th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division and was killed the day after D-DAY.
His brother Raymond served in the 25th Infantry Division in the Philippines and Japan.
