Chief Aviation Machinist Mate Adams was both a World War II and Korean War veteran. He saw shore duty at NRS Los Angeles, CA, NTS San Diego, CA and NAS Corpus Christi, TX. He saw sea duty on the USS Onslow (AVP-48) and the USS Toledo (CA-133). He was awarded the Navy Good Conduct medal (4th Award), American Theater Campaign medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign medal, American Defense medal, Philippine Liberation medal, World War II Victory medal, Korean Service medal with one bronze service star, and the United Nations Service medal.
Cremated, Ashes scattered at sea.
