Wedding is Celebrated at Noon Today at the Guy Vaught Home.
Miss Ruth Owens, daughter of Mrs. Edna Owens, and Frank Tyler Allen, son of Mrs. Ella Allen of Springfield, Mass., were married at 12 o'clock today at the home of Mrs. Guy Vaught. This afternoon they left for Springfield, where they will visit Mr. Allen's mother before establishing their home in New York City.
The Rev. P. L. Powell read the service. The double ring ceremony was used. There were no attendants, and the services were simple and informal. Only immediate members of the two families were present.
Mrs. [sic] Owens is a graduate of Franklin high school and the Indianapolis Conservatory of Music. She is a well-known and talented young woman. Mr. Allen is secretary of the Railroad Y. M. C. A. in New York City. After November 1, Mr. and Mrs. Allen will be at their new home at 1454 University avenue in New York.

Indiana State Board of Health Certificate of Death No. 82-046569 for Indianapolis, Marion County records Frank T. Allen, a 94-years-old married white male, a retired auditor for the Belt Railroad, died about 8:52 a.m. on 22 December 1982, due to "Carcinoma of Prostate", and "Renal Failure." He was the son of (Unknown) Allen, and Ellen Coe. A friend, Ralph Monroe, was the informant. Burial was at 2nd Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Johnson County on 24 December 1984, Wilson-St. Pierre Funeral Home of Greenwood, Funeral Directors.
