The second child of Henry Glenn Brenton (formerly of Dallas County, Iowa) by his second marriage. Robert was the son of a miner who became a miner himself in Copper Hill, and later became a mechanic. Married to Augusta Georgia Lewis, they had 9 children (one of whom died at age 3). I'm told this long-lost cousin's grave is marked by a hand-written on metal plaque set in cement.
