Gertrude O. Bail
HUDSON - Gertrude O. Bail, age 84 of Hillsdale, formerly of Hudson, passed away July 27, 1999 in the Hillsdale County Medical Ca Facility.
She was born April 30, 1915 in Woodstock Township, Lenawee County, the daughter of Lynnwood and Ethel (Clark) Wood. She lived her early life in Woodstock Township and most of her life in Hudson. She married Albert Bail who preceded her in death October 20, 1978.
Mrs. Bail worked in the Central Supply Department of the Addison Community Hospital for over 30 years, retiring in 1978. She attended the Open Door Bible Church in Hudson.
Surviving are one daughter, Jean (the Rev. Donald) Balis of Ravenswood, W.Va.; one son, Gary Bail of Jackson; one daughter-in-law, Grace Bail of Hillsdale; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Wilbur (Nina) Wood of Bradenton, Fla., and by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Chana Bail of Hudson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, David Bail, and by 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with the Rev. Donald E. Balis officiating. Internment will be made in Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson The visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
