A native and resident of Walker, he passed away at 11:08 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at his home. He was 89 and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Monday, Aug. 6, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 2 p.m., conducted by Dr. Richard Blue. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Baton Rouge. He is survived by his son, Tommy Aime, Walker; foster son, Lloyd "Peanut" Stewart, Walker; two loving sisters, Leah Jasinski and Mary Pruyn, both of Baton Rouge; foster grandson, Joseph Stewart, Denham Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; foster daughter-in-law, Mary Stewart; and six sisters, five brothers and two foster granddaughters. The family would like to express their special thanks to the employees of Ochsner Clinic, Dr. Tracie Mbellangen, Acadian Ambulance and 911.
