Obituary - "IDA BELLE ACUFF - Ida Belle Acuff, 81, died July 19, 1994, in the Golden Years Care Services nursing home, Harrisonville, where she lived. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville; burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Mrs. Acuff was a lifelong Harrisonville resident. She was a blueprint librarian for the Bendix Kansas City Division for 20 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Harrisonville. She was a member of the Cass Medical Center Auxiliary, Harrisonville. Survivors include her husband, Howard Acuff of the home; a daughter, Patty Reece, Harrisonville; two granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter." Ida Belle, I will never forget how you enjoyed setting off a whole package of firecrackers all at one time. We had some good times on the 4th of July.
