Twylia was the daughter of Virginia (McCoy) Postlewait and the late Rev. Carl Postlewait. She grew up around Mtn. Grove, Missouri and graduated from Mtn. Grove High School in 1979. While she was in high school, she enjoyed playing the clarinet, piano and she also loved to sing. She later attended Southwest Missouri State University. Twylia worked in child care and medical offices in various hospitals and medical facilities. Most recently, she was employed by the Hulston Cancer Center in Springfield, Missouri. Twylia's son, Michael, was born on August 3, 1993. This past May, she was very proud to watch him graduate high school. She was known as a loving and caring mother, who would sacrifice whatever was needed for her son. She was also a caring and kind daughter, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She loved serving those around her. She was very active in her church, Four Rivers, in Marshfield. Her greatest desire was serving the Lord. In her spare time, she liked to watch the St. Louis Cardinal's on t.v. She also liked collecting Lucy Dolls and I Love Lucy television episodes. She looked forward to spending time with her cherished cat companions: Baby and Bell.
