Mrs. Charlene W. Adams, 85, of Madisonville, KY passed away Monday, January 12, 2009 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was born October 8, 1923 in McLean County, KY to the late Charley J. West and Lola Mae Puckett West. She is also preceded in death by one sister, Doris Marie West Reynolds and one brother, Finis Lee West.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, Omer Carol Adams of Madisonville; one son, Clifton Carol Adams of Richland, IN; one brother, Douglas Ray West of Gallatin, TN; two granddaughters, Kimberly Dawn and Quentin Masterson and Mindy Kay and Tracy West; three great grandsons, Zachary Alexander Masterson, Elliott Nathanel Masterson and Luke Michael Suter; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews and great great great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 16, 2009 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville.
Memorial donations may take the form of donation to the Hopkins County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
