MRS. ISAAC BAILEY ANSWERS SUMMONS
Mrs. Isaac Bailey, 83 years of age, for 61 years a resident of Adair County, died at her home in Greenfield, January 8.
Ella Francitis (sic) Tomlinson, daughter of Isaac and Anna Tomlinson was born in Virginia, October 27, 1850 and died at her home in Greenfield, January 8, 1934, aged 83 years, 2 months and 11 days.
She was married in Keokuk county, Iowa, August 30, 1869 to Isaac Bailey, who preceded her in death April 18, 1926.
To this union was born five children, Burton Bailey of California; Mrs. Rhoda Shreck, deceased; I. P. Bailey, Fontanelle; Mrs. Ruby Campfield of Winterset and James Bailey of Higgins, Texas.
Mr. and Mrs. Bailey came Adair County 61 years ago, living on their farm northwest of Fontanelle, now occupied by Walter Mathes, for 23 years, moving to Greenfield 38 years ago where they built their home which has been a real home where neighbors and friends delighted to gather.
Mrs. Bailey united with the Christian church at Fontanelle over fifty years ago, transferring her membership to the Greenfield Church of Christ, where she continued her membership until her death.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in the home conducted by Rev. McEldowney of Fontanelle from the text chosen by Mrs. Bailey "In My Fathers House Are Many Mansions." The songs "Think of the Home Over There" and "We'll Never Say Good Bye in Heaven", favorites of the deceased were sung by Mrs. Amelia Patterson and Mrs. Ray Alley. The pall bearers were Luther Fritz, Tom Dulany, Sidney Herrick, Will Bowen, Garner Thompson and Ed Peck. Interment was made in the Fontanelle cemetery.

Fransena Ella Tomplinson (sic), daughter of Isaac and Anna Tomlinson, was born in Virginia October 27, 1850, and died at her home in Greenfield, Iowa, January 8, 1934, aged 83 years, 2 months and 11 days.
She was married in Keokuk county, Iowa, August 29, 1869, to Isaac Bailey, who died April 18, 1926, aged 89 years.
To this union were born five children: Burton Bailey of California; Mrs. Rhoda Shrek, deceased; I. P. Bailey, Fontanelle; Mrs. Ruby Campfield, of Winterset and James Bailey, of Higgins, Texas; the latter having spent a month with his mother, leaving for Texas the day she was taken sick. She also leaves 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a sister in California.
Mr. and Mrs. Bailey came to Adair county 61 years ago, settling northwest of Fontanelle on a farm now owned by C. W. Mathes, where they lived until they moved to Greenfield 38 years ago. There they built a home where they have spent these many years, their home being open to their many friends who enjoyed their genial hospitality and were always met with a smile and happy greetings.
Mrs. Bailey united with the Christian church in Fontanelle more than 50 years ago, transferring her membership to the Church of Christ in Greenfield, where she retained her membership until her death.
