William Tavlum Andersen, 20, of Kenosha, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009, at his residence.
He was born on Jan. 15, 1989, to Mark and Quincey (Tanner) Andersen in Lawrenceville, Ga. William was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School in 2007.
He worked at Mark's Lawn Care and before that at Wal-Mart for a year.
William was an extremely talented artist who loved writing and playing music. He enjoyed video games, watching movies and being a movie critic. William loved being with his friends.
William is survived by his parents, Mark and Quincey Andersen of Kenosha; his grandmother, Lillian (Farmor) Andersen, his aunts and uncles, Joey and Glenda Winburn of Georgia, Artie and Donna Winburn of Georgia, Debbie and Chris Adams of Georgia, Sheila and Gary of Georgia, Billy Ray and Glenda Tanner of Florida, Cheryl (Faster Cissi) Andersen, Doreen (Faster Oozie) and Gerald Merfeld, Erik and Judy Andersen of Casa Grande, Ariz., Linda and Alan Hinds; and a very special uncle, Alan Andersen; his great aunt, Birtha Beck of Copenhagen, Denmark; other relatives in Denmark; his sisters at heart, Rachel and Xena Anderson; many loving cousins, including his cousin, Andrew Hinds, whom he considered a brother, his best friend, Christian Martin; and many friends who loved him. His closest circle of friends, Ashley, (Big) Andrew, Kevin Larsen, Cassie, Dave, Kevin, Kirsten (Keto); and his loving "uncle" James in Georgia.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Irene Tanner and his grandfather W.G. Andersen.
To our son William:You will always be our Superman and we will always miss you.
A memorial service for William will be held on Monday, June 15, at 6 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family or the Christopher Reeve Foundation would be appreciated.
