BURLEY - Ruby Lea Satterwhite Aylett, 82, of Burley, died Friday, July 13, 2007, at Twin Falls Care Center. She was born July 4, 1925, in Burkburnett, Tex. As a young child, she moved with her family to Hansen, where she attended schools. They later moved to the Salmon Tract. She later resided near Ely, Nev., in Las Vegas for four years, in Idaho Falls from 1955 until 1983, and since that time in Burley. While living in Idaho Falls she worked for Pillsbury in potato processing until her retirement. Ruby was also a devoted foster parent, caring for a number of children who were in need of a loving home. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, was a blood donor for many years and had a deep love for all animals.
She is survived by one son: Duane (Cora) Beye of North Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers: Charles (Rosie) Satterwhite of Twin Falls, Jerry (Kay) Satterwhite of Boise, Boyd (Juanita) Satterwhite of Twin Falls; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter.
There will be a gathering for family and friends at White Mortuary, "Chapel by the Park," 136 4th Ave., E. in Twin Falls on Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. Private inurnment will take place in Sunset Memorial Park.
