Member of 544 Bomber Squadron, 384th Bomber Group. 18 bombers assigned to mission bombing Schweinfurt, 5 bombers were lost on mission. MACR #296.1LT Hausenfluck and 2LT MacKenzie were both lost in explosion as they were wounded and holding the aircraft level for the crew to bail out.
