Patricia J. (Myrtle) Griffin, 76, of 209 S. First St. died the night of November 29 in New Castle.
Mrs. Griffin was born on July 30, 1932, in New Castle, the daughter of Clyde Sr. & Sophie Flaughter Shoaff.
She married William Lee Griffin Sr. on December 23, 1950. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2000.
Patricia was a retired LPN at St. Francis Hospital where she was employed for over 20 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Calvary Temple Worship Center. She was very active with all church activities.
Patricia was survived by two daughters; Cynthia Allison & her husband Scott of New Castle, Deborah Ceyrolles Bondi of Mt. Pleasant, TN., two sons; William Lee Jr. and his wife Elena Griffin of Negley, Oh and David John Griffin of New Castle, two brothers; Vernon Shoaff of Hollindale, Fl. and Clyde Shoaff Jr. of New Castle, fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs Griffin is preceded in death by her parents, husband; William, one daughter; Jeanne Walker, daughter-in-law; Regina M. Griffin, sister; Nettie Hedland and one brother; Lee Shoaff.

Service will be held on Wednesday, December 3 at 1:00 p.m. at Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Pastor Abe Robles, Calvary Temple Worship Center will officiate.
