H. H. Bailey Services Thursday
H. H. Bailey, 76, of Route 1, El Dorado, died Tuesday morning at his home. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 9, 1908, at El Dorado, the son of Charles E. and Mabel Randall Bailey. He had lived in the El Dorado area for the past 25 years, and worked for Mobil Reinfery as a boiler operator until retiring in 1971. He was a member of the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers Union.
On Nov. 13, 1951, he married Nanniel Cox at Benton, Ark.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; four sons, Melvin R. Bailey of Olathe, Donald H. Bailey of Clovis, N.M., Bob D. Ramsey of Kansas City, Mo., and Gene Cox of Boulder, Colo., five daughters, Betty Austin of Towanda, Barbara Brush of Ft. Worth, Texas, Toni Holbrook of Wichita, and Jane Nutting of Tiff City, Mo.; two brothers, Charles of Salina and W. I of El Dorado; three sisters, Grace Robertson of Albuquerque, N.M., and Tiny Malan and Susan Hall, both of El Dorado; and 28 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death his parents; two brothers, Glenn and Carl; and one grandchild, Jerry Nutting.
Memorials i his memory for the American Heart Association may be left at Carlson Funeral Home, where friends may call.

Services for H. H. Bailey, 76, of rural El Dorado, were held Thursday afternoon at Sunset Lawns Cemetery. Burial followed the services. Mr. Bailey died Tuesday, April 30.
The Rev. Vic Forbes officiated at the services. The Rev. Art Wilson sang "How Great Thou Art."
Casket bearers were James Austin, Johnny Austin, Lee Nutting, Steve Nutting, David Ramsey, Michael Brush, and Perry Holbrook.
Carlson Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.
