SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 1960

Funeral for W.G. (Bill) Bennett, 89,former Winters resident, who died Thursday at the Morris Nursing Home in Roscoe will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Elliott's Chapel of Memories.

The Reverend David Hamblin, pastor of Fair Park Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

A long time resident of Winters, Mr. Bennett for several years operated a horse-drawn freight line between Ballinger and Abilene. He was also a carpenter.

Survivors include a son, Leonard of Abilene; a daughter, Mrs. Ida Eckstein of Kerrville; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Davidson of Loraine.

Pallbearers will be Wade Davis, Joe T. Smith, Claude Dickey, N.H. Hale, Virgil Frazier and M.L. Archer.
