(via tullahomanews.com 2/12/2014) BRANCH — Vernon Wilson, Branch, Sr., 70, of Tullahoma, passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. A native of Harvey, Ill., he was the son of the late Claude Branch and Nola B. Sells Branch. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and worked for AEDC for 31 years as an electrician before retirement. Mr. Branch enjoyed working around his house, landscaping and fishing in his pond. He loved Nascar, vacationing in the Smoky Mountains, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 30 years, Mrs. Linda L. Lewter Branch, Tullahoma; a son, Vernon Wilson (Brenda Kaye) Branch Jr., Tullahoma; two daughters, Melissa Ann (Tim) Holt, Lynchburg, and Wendy (Scott) Rollins, Huntland, Tenn.; stepson, Tim (Rita) Barber, Smyrna; step- daughter, Melanie Bennett, Lawrenceburg; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many friends. Visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Tullahoma Funeral Home where services will be conducted in the chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, with Bro. David Wall officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester.
