Parke Ashburn Sr. and Annie Spencer Ashburn were truly soul mates and meant to be together. Parke Ashburn was a farmer who worked hard all his life. He and Annie were together through some good years and some lean years, but always persevering, sustained by their love for one another, their children, and their Christian faith.
They were the parents of Parke Asburn Jr. their son, and Doris Ann Ashburn their daughter. Parke Jr. and Doris Ann grew up to become fine adults and they were loving and devoted to their wonderful parents Parke and Annie through their lifetimes. Parke and Annie were blessed to have several grandchildren whom they adored. Parke was eighty-nine years of age when he went to his eternal rest, and Annie followed him home sixteen months later.
