Alton (Tony) Eugene Aaron
ELWOOD - Alton (Tony) Eugene Aaron Jr., 52, died June 10, 1996, at his residence. He was
bom January 28, 1944 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the son of Alton Eugene and June Marie Worthy Aaron.
He married Margaret Janeal Harris on June 10, 1969 in the Logan LDS Temple.
Tony moved almost yearly with his family while his father was serving in the military. During his high school years he lived in Germany and returned to Germany to serve an LDS Mission. He was a 1972 USU Forestry Graduate. He and his family lived in Wyoming, South Dakota Colorado and Utah.
He was a High Priest in the Elwood Ward and served as Teacher, Scoutmaster, High Councilman, Branch president Counselor in the Bishopric, Home Teacher and Sunday School President.
Surviving are his wife of Elwood and seven children and their spouses, Holly Aaron, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Cherylyn (Greg) Jensen, Scott Alton Aaron, Tammy (Peter) Jensen, Corina Aaron, Jonathan R. Aaron, Tyrell D. Aaron, all of Elwood; and five grandchildren.
Also surviving are his parents of Tucson, Arizona; and one sister, Ann Marie.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 15, 1996 in the Tremonton South Stake Center, with Bishop Shegeki Moriyama officiating. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home.
Interment was at the Elwood Cemetery.
