Mary Mae Baker, 81, of Shelbyville, died Monday, June 18, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove.
Born April 6, 1920, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Walter and Etta (Rush) Hendrickson. She married George W. "Bill" Baker on September 22, 1945, and he survives.
Other survivors include one son, William A. Baker of Shelbyville; two sisters, Norma Huff and Bernice Tucker, both of Shelbyville, one brother, Paul Hendrickson of Flat Rock; and two grandsons, Allen Baker of Shelbyville and Robert Freeman of Knoxville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Funeral services will be Thursday at Glenn E. George Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Farnsley officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Shelby County.
