Joseph P. Baylor was the husband of Hattie A. Cousins Baylor. Hattie Cousins was the daughter of Daniel P. and Martha Woodrow Cousins. Joseph and Hattie were the parents of 9 children.

Joseph P. Baylor, 87 of Thorn St, (Oklahoma Borough) Apollo RD 2 died at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday at his home following an extended illness. He was born Feb. 29, 1880 at Indiana, Pa. a son of John and Emma (McCullough) Baylor. A retired coal miner and member of the Limestone Church of God at Adrian he formerly resided in the Kittanning area. Survivors include, his wife, Hattie Cousins Baylor; six sons, John of Vandergrift, Ward of Orchard Hills, Dan of Ravendale, Calif., Fred of Sacramento, Calif., Lawrence of Duarte, Calif., Edward of Glendora, Calif; two daughters, Mrs. Harlan (June) Harwick of Oklahoma Borough, Mrs. Robert (Stella) Frye of Monrovia, Calif., 26 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. BAYLOR — Friends of Joseph P. Baylor of Thorn St., Apollo RD 2 who died Jan. 30, 1968 will be received at the Walter G. Snyder Funeral Home Cowansville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today where service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday (Feb. 2, 1968) with Rev. John Young, pastor of Pleasantville Brethren Church, officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Church of God Cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder of Cowansville.
