Frank Frank Edward Abbey was born in Grand Rapids, MI to Edward and Esther Rebecca Ryder Abbey. He is buried beside his mother, Esther Ryder Abbey. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the Pacific Theater during World War II. For many years, he was employed by Brown & Root, and he was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and the American Legion. He was survived by one cousin, Bud Kuppenburg. His obituary appeared in the Palestine Herald-Press, Thursday, 25 November 1999.
