"EDNA C. ALFORD. TURLOCK. Final rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday [March10] in the Allen Mortuary for Edna C. Alford, 66, who died Tuesday [March 7] in a local hospital after a short illness.
Interment will be in Turlock Memorial Park.
A native of Lodi, she had lived in the Denair area since 1950.
She leaves her widower, Fred Alford of Turlock; a daughter, Mary Moore of Oakdale; four sons, Samuel of Turlock, John of Utah, Roy with the Army in Japan and Thomas Alford of Orland; a brother, Earl Harlan of Colorado; a sister, Pearl Bertolero of Modesto, and 13 grandchildren.
The family requests any remembrances be given to the First Methodist Church Memorial Fund in Turlock."
