Nina Johnston was born in Norfolk VA to a US Navy family and migrated to California. She was the Loving wife of Warren Johnston and mother of son, Jay Johnston. Nina's father, Charlie Brown was a Captain in the US Navy during WWII who lived next door in Yuba City
Nina taught school in Sutter City. After retirement her and husband Al traveled throughout the Sierra Mountains in their RV trailer. They took many pictures and enjoyed sharing them with friends. Husband, Al loved to fish. They were both members of the Audubon Society.
Nina was a refined lady and a dear friend. Her motto was "The power of positive thinking". She lived by those words and encouraged others in that direction.
