E. JUNE ANDREWS June Andrews of Vancouver, WA passed away on September 22, 2007 at the age of 83. She was born on September 10, 1924 in Deer Park, WA to James F. Short and Sadie M. Alberthal. June loved life and her family, playing darts with her husband Lyle, bowling, making craft's, cooking, and traveling across America. June was a homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper for Montgomery Wards. She was a member of the Vancouver Women of the Moose, the Daughter's of the American Revolution, Vancouver Genealogical Society and was very active with the Chemawa Indian School. June was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle H. Andrews and her eldest son, William H. Andrews. She is survived by; three sons: Andy Andrews, Donny Ray Andrews and Galen Andrews; three brothers and a sister: Richard Short, Don Short, Shannon Smith and Carol Jenkins; daughter-in law, Sharen Andrews; as well as, four grandson's, 10 granddaughter's and 19 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007 with a private viewing on Friday, September 28, 2007 from 12-9pm at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
