Thessie Mae Floyd Brunson, 83, of Jamestown, SC, a former packer for Eagle Electric, died Friday evening at her residence.

Her funeral will be 11:00 AM Tuesday morning, August 4, 2015, in the Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment will follow in the New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shulerville. The family will receive friends at Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday evening.

Mrs. Brunson was born October 30, 1931, in Florence Co., SC, a daughter of Windham D. Floyd and Myrtis Hyman Floyd Dunn. She was a member of the Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church and a former machine operator for Santee Spinning. Mrs. Brunson loved her family and taking care of them.

Surviving are, her husband, James Edward Brunson; two daughters, Denise Brunson and Lynette Avant and her husband, Shortie, all of Jamestown; a son, Eddie Brunson and his wife, Glenda, of Moncks Corner; a sister, Merita Wrenn of Scranton; two brothers, Theron Floyd of Surfside and David Floyd of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren, Duffy Furtick, and Nikki, Brian, and Scott Avant; and one great grandchild, Kaytlyn Furtick.
