She had lived most of her life in Hawkins county and attended Liberty Baptist Church. She loved being with her family along with gardening and flowers. All the kids called her "Mammaw".
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleave and Sarah Ratliff, her husband, Ray Roy Amyx, and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Lois Pearson and her husband, Roy Don of Mt. Carmel, sister, Vacie Hopkins of Maryland, granddaughter, Misty Pearson and Darrin Ramey, great grandson, Brandon Ramey and his fiancé, Lisa Johnson, and a future great great grandchild in December.
The family would like to thank her second family, the Church Hill Health Care and Rehab Center where they knew her as "Lollie".
Calling hours are from 5 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home of Church Hill.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tommy Holder officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
