Arvil B. Adams, 79, died Saturday, September 2, 1989, at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born February 12, 1910, in Teasdale, Utah, a son of Andrew Adams and Harriet Emeline Burr Adams.

He married Addie Davis on May 20, 1938, in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She died March 8, 1982.

Surviving are a son and two daughters, Jerry Adams, Cedar City; Diane Peterson, West Jordan; and Vicki Adams, Mapleton; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister, Neldon Adams, Fillmore; Dee Adams, Payson, and Fontella Baker, Salt Lake City.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Kay; three brothers, three sisters, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
