According to a marriage record, William F. Davis married Harriett Gurle on Oct 2,1873 in Mitchell County,NC Other documents list Tom Davis (presumably the same person as "Willilam F.Davis") and Harriett Gurley as the parents of two children:

(2)Queenie Davis b:12-16-1876 d:07-27-1932 married Jessie Bud Spark. Burried Liberty Hill Cem. Mitchell Co.

However, if this entry does refer to "Jute" Boone, then he would be listed on the census twice, for he appears with his parents, Robert and Naomi Boone.
