Graveside services for Harold Grant Barnum, 85, will be at 11:15 a.m. today at Riverside National Cemetery. He died Sunday of pneumonia at Hemet Valley Medical Center.
Friends and family may call from 8 until 10 a.m. today at McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet.
Mr. Barnum, who was born in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada, lived in California for 65 years, including 10 in Hemet. He was a personnel manager at the state Department of Employment for 10 years. He served in the U.S. Army as a staff sergeant during World War II.
He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lynwood.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; son,. . . ; stepdaughter, Mary Ann Dru of South Gate; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Montgomery of San Antonio, Texas.
