Mrs. Caroline A. Ausherman, wife of Mr. Chas. Ausherman; who resides with his mother on her farm near Ellerton, Middletown Valley, died April 9, after a long and painful illness, from cancer of the breast. Mrs. Ausherman was a daughter of Mr. Peter Grossnickle, of the same vicinity; and she was a most highly esteemed lady. She was about 30 years of age and leaves a husband and one child about a year old. Funeral services took place Thursday morning at Grossnickle's meeting house near her late residence. The services were conducted by Elders Utz and Harp.
