Death: May 11, 1942

Florence was a "free spirit" who knew how to have a good time. Among numerous occupations, she worked as a show girl in a dance hall, and for many years as a pocket-maker in the Oneida Knitting Mills. Despite her name at death as "Miss Florence Acker" she had at least 4 brief marriages:

Ralph S. VanHoosen, (war-time romance) mar. 22 Sep 1919, Utica
William Frank Alexander, mar. 3 May 1927, Utica
Leo Sullivan (date and place unknown, but after 1930)
Raymond Leo Lux, mar. abt Apr 1936, Utica

She lived with long-time partner William Bell for a number of years, but they never married.

Florence is believed to have had one child who died in infancy.
