William C. Baker was from Westchester, Illinois. He was a member of the 100h Infantry Division, 398th Infantry Regiment. Baker was Killed in Action, by a booby trap, during the Siege of Bitche, France.
In 1949, William C. Baker was buried at Mount Emblem Cemetery. His grave has no headstone.
