PANA -- Mrs B L "Jack" (Iva McCain) Adkins, 89, of Pana died 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (Jan 3, 1984) in Hawthorne Lodge, Pana.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Dodson Funeral Home, Pana, with visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Nokomis City Cemetery.
Mrs Adkins was born born in Logan County, daughter of W H H and Rosa McCain. She married B L "Jack" Adkins in 1914. He died in 1960.
Surviving her are sons, Charles of Canbv, MN; Howard of Tower Hill; Glen of Sugar Grove; Roy of Ohlman; George and Kenneth both of Sandwich; John of Monroe, WI; James of Pana; daughters, Ruby Moore and Betty Smith, both of Oconee; Viola Duncan of Pana; Lillie Markham of Assumption; Edith Moomey of Nokomis; Rosa Scoughton of Wichita Falls, TX; brother, Harrison McCain of Sioux Falls, SD; sisters, Viola Duty of Receda, CA; Helena Long of Harrisburg, SD; 50 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. One brother, three sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.
