She was proud of her Cherokee Indian heritage and her Southern heritage.
She is survived by daughter, Rachel Batey; son, Harry Batey, Jr.; sister, Martha Caroline Garner and brother, Thomas H. Williams.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 3, 2014 at 1 p.m., at Woodbine Funeral Home, Waller Chapel, 7281 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN by Rev. James Norton. Interment Williams Cemetery.
