Gilbert Allen, who had been in poor health for the last year or more from heart disease, some four weeks ago was taken with typhoid fever. The best efforts were unavailing and to-day, Tuesday, at 10 a.m. he passed away. The entire neighborhood extend their sympathies to the aged mother and family. They have been unusually afflicated by this disease, this being the fourth case in as many years. Three years ago the youngest daughter dying of the same disease.
