She was an 8th grade pupil at St. Paul's parish school. Six years ago in June she had a major operation at Barnes' Childrens hospital in St. Louis, called Tetralogy of Fallot. The operation was successful. About two weeks before Play Day at Westmoreland, she didn't feel well and stayed at home. When her condition didn't improved she was taken to Onaga hospital where the doctors thought it best to remove her to Vail hospital where she was under observation, Monday, Oct. 12, at 9 p. m. after a seemingly successful operation, she peacefully fell asleep in firm faith of her Savior.
She is survived by her parents; two brothers, Marvin and Eldon; two sisters, Lois and Marilyn; her grandmother, Rosa Kufahl of Wheaton, and many other relatives.
Linda attained the age of 13 years, 8 months and 26 days. "The lines have fallen unto her in pleasant places; she has a goodly heritage."
