DRY PRONG - Services for Donna Rushton Ammons will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hebron Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard DeBusk officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy. 84 east of Winnfield, under direction of Hixson Bros., Pineville.
Mrs. Ammons, 31, of Colfax died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 1997, in her parent's residence.
She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church where she served as a GA Leader, a 1984 graduate of Grant High School and received her nursing degree from LSU-A in 1993. She was a 10 year employee of St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Paul S. Ammons of Colfax; one stepson, Christopher Paul Ammons of Colfax; one daughter, Hope Adair Ammons of Colfax; her parents, J.W. "Joe" and Ann Rushton of Dry Prong; one brother, Darrell Rushton of Bentley; two sisters, Debby McFarlen of Pollock and Dena Hicks of Tioga; maternal grandmother, Marjorie McCartney of Tullos; and paternal grandmother, Ruth Rushton of Pineville.
Friends may call from 4-10 p.m. Friday and from 8-9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until time of services in the church.

Cancer that reoccurred during pregnancy; she passed away when her child was 6 months old.
