Also, the original setup for Johnnie David Terry was removed from this site because they were unable to locate him at the Westminister Memorial Park when I inquired.
However, the visitation for Johnnie was at that park so I decided to put him back into this site, because I would have never known he had passed if I hadn't seen him in here.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, especialy to his mother and his sister Sherry, for their Johnnie Boy was a kind and wonderful man who I know is dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
John and I met in July of 1980. He and his friend Steve had been traveling from Ohio, across Canada and then down thru California. We met at the beach in Huntington and it was love at first sight. We were together for 4 years and then decided it was time to go our separate ways.
While he worked on the oil rigs, he would have a 4 day weekend every 4 weeks and in the summertime we would head up to the camp grounds and spend the weekend there, hiking and playing music together. We had many friends and use to sing and play the music for them at the parties we attended. We had a lot of happy times, he was my first "True Love" and is truly missed in my heart.
Every Saturday morning we would get up and together we would prepare a big breakfast for whoever would stop by could eat with us. We would put on the Genesis album and play this song Follow You, Follow Me
He had a huge family and one year we surprised them, Johnnie, his sister Sherry and myself, just showed up in Ohio, unannounced, boy were they surprised. We stayed there for a month I believe. I took many pics of the fall colors and his family & nephews. I can put a couple of them on here some time.
God Bless You Johnnie Boy and may you always Rest in Heavenly Peace.
Thanks again for this site. Karen
