Bernice H. "Sis" Bell, age 95, of Chatom, AL was born on Janaury 20 1919 and passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at her residence. She was a retired social worker for the State of Alabama. Mrs. Bell was a member of Chatom First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Lucius" Bell, Sr. and a grandson, Robby Jordan. Survivors include her two children: John L. "Chip" (Patti) Bell, Jr. and Penny Bell (Glenn) McDaniel; three grandchildren: Holly Jordan, Jamie Bell and Jeff Edwards; six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held. A memorial service will be on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Chatom First Baptist Church.
