   Padonia, Kans., March 11, 1902.--...Miss Lettie Burdick is home from St. Louis to spend a few weeks with her sister, Mrs. Dora Allerton, who is very low. ..

                          DEATHS.
                          Allerton.

   Mrs. Dora Burdick was born in Pike county, Ill., July 17, 1860, and died at her home 2˝ miles northwest of Padonia, Saturday, March 22, 1901[sic]. She had been a constant sufferer for the past 10 years. She leaves a husband and one son, Fred R., and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her loss. The funeral was held at the house at 2 o'clock, Rev. Mr. Teetor, of Everest, conducting the services. Interment was made in the Hamlin cemetery. The K. & L. of S., of which she was a member, took charge of the remains at the grave.
