The oldest of the six daughters of Eugene Bellway and Elizabeth Adams. Eugene Bellway was a French Canadian born in Quebec. Elizabeth Adams the daughter of Hiram Adams and Elizabeth Froom was born in Ontario, Canada. The Adams and Froom families were United Empire Loyalists. They moved to Rock Co., Wisconsin after the Civil War and to Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois before 1880. She married Charles M. Arnold on May 17, 1876 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. The mother of a son, Walter, 1879. She moved to the Illinois Masonic Home in Sullivan about 1923. Her death was due to breast cancer.
