CLAUS ANDERSON SUCCUMBS AT SON'S HOME HERE

Death came last evening at 6:40 to Claus Anderson, 67, at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderson on Kentucky avenue. Mr. Anderson was well known through-out the county, having operated ranches on Horse Prairie and other sections since 1913 when he came here from Chicago.

He was a native of Sweden where he was born December 16, 1876, and came to the United States in 1898, making his home in Chicago for many years. For the past five or six years he made his home with his son, Oscar Anderson of Dillon.

He is survived by his two sons, Oscar and Carl of Dillon; a sister, Mrs. Elina Carlson of Denver; a niece, Mrs. Robert Franklin and nephew, Albert Johnson, both of Dillon, and ohter nieces and nephews in Denver, besides two granddaughters in Dillon.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed but will take place in Dillon from the Lutheran church with the Rev. Norman Benson reading the service.
