Christina, of Bloomington, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. She was born in Rochester, New York, the daughter of Joe and Jean Nichols. She will be remembered by those who knew her for her gentle spirit, kind nature, and her delight in the small joys life presented. She enjoyed animals, reading, drawing, music, walks in the woods and time with family and friends. Christina is survived by Michael and Marabai, son and daughter-in-law; Lisa and Christian, daughter and son-in-law; and four grandchildren: Mia, Milo, Zoe and Annika. The family would like to acknowledge the care and compassion of Centerstone and Madison State Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Brown County State Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Bloomington.
