Mrs. Altine was born in Cordesville, SC on September 6, 1919 a daughter of Jake and Maggie Cumbee Wright.
Mrs. Altine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who demonstrated her love for them on a daily basis. She will be remembered for her beauty, both physical and spiritual.
Mrs. Altine is survived by her husband, George Altine of James Island; her daughter, Diane A. SImmons and her husband, Jim, of Fayetteville, NC; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren as well as two sisters, Arnell Edwards and Janie Sims.
