Peter James Everett (Pete) Good, 75, of Johns Island, formerly of Ravenel, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. He was born in Wolfe County, KY on Friday, October 6, 1933, the son of the late Peter James Everett Donald and Loucinda Elizabeth (Chambers) Griffith-Donald-Good. Pete honorably served our country in the United States Navy and in the United States Air Force . He was a retired Civil Service Electronics Specialist. He was a member of the Elk's Lodge #242 and loved bowling. Pete is survived by three Children, Dennis M. Good of Fair Oaks, CA., Sheryll G. June of Troutdale, CA., Michael D. Good of Reno ,NV; three grandchildren, Jimmy, Jennifer and Jessica; a sister, Viola Griffith Pendarvis of Charleston; two brothers, Joe B. Griffith of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Leroy Donald of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; four nieces, Mary Lou Wickstrom, Carolyn Pendarvis, Marlene "Teenie" Jett, Sandy Daniels and multiple other nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, his stepfather, Henry Good; a sister, Elizabeth Griffith; two brothers, Wilber Donald, Robert "Shirley" Donald and a brother-in-law, James Pendarvis. The relatives and friends of Peter J.E. Good are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 2:00 PM, today, Friday, April 10, 2009 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today at 1:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial contributions to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 95 Folly Rd. Charleston, SC 29407.
