Remember me when flowers bloom early in the Spring.
Remember me on sunny days, in the fun that summer brings.
Remember me in the Fall, as you walk through the leaves of gold.
And remember me in the wintertime, in the stories that are told.
But most of all remember, each day right from the start.
I will be forever near, for I live within your heart
I wish Heaven had a phone
so I could hear your voice again.
I thought of you today,
but that is nothing new,
I thought of you yesterday,
and days before that too.
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name.
All I have are memories
and a picture in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake,
from which I'll never part.
...God has you in his arms,
I have you in my heart.♥
Mary Lou Rindt was born Feb. 1, 1927 in Danville, IL, daughter of George and Mae Burgoyne Rindt. She was little sister to Jack Rindt. She attended Franklin Grade School in Danville, then Lincoln School in Urbana. She went to Thornburn Jr. High and graduated from Urbana High School. She attended the University of IL for 2 years and studied art. Mother worked at Illinois Bell as a Telephone Service Observer, at Scott's 5&10 cent store, and later part time at Roland's Dept. Store.
She married Verlin B. Anderson of California April 28, 1957. They adopted Cindy and Debby, very lucky children to be specially chosen.
While raising her children she was the embodiment of a homemaker. In her spare time, she went on field trips, was room mother, and baked treats to take to school on birthdays. We always got to pick what kind of cake we wanted for our birthday.
Mother continued to enjoy painting, mostly oils and some watercolors. She was a wonderful sketcher and painter, and many of her works are in our homes. She loved to travel, eventually visiting every state except North Dakota, as well as Cuba, Mexico, Canada, Great Britain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Lichtenstein.
Mother also loved animals, having Boston Terriers Tiny and Snoopy while with her parents, then Boston Terriers Pepper, Tammy and Missy, followed by adopted brother and sister cats Bonnie and Clyde.
Mother was very family oriented, and all of her life her family came first. She enjoyed the company of her immediate family, her mother being her best friend, and all of her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Later, she had granddaughters Melissa and Hollie, and great-grandchildren Braydon and Keeley to enjoy spending time with.
Mother loved to travel, having visited every state in the U.S. except North Dakota. She had also been to Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Great Britain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Lichtenstein. In keeping with that, she loved to eat out, particularly in new places.
Her favorite things were the color aqua, Sees and Fannie May chocolate creams, Gone With the Wind, musicals, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, daisies & roses, Shalimar and Passion.

Please visit her family if you have time, and leave some flowers. She would appreciate it. I appreciate all of you who have left flowers & notes here, thank you. It means so much that you take the time to do this for my Mother and her loved ones.

Mother's parent's are mentioned above.
Mother's fraternal grandparents Gustav A. and Emma Leek Rindt & aunts/uncles, Margaret Hike, Harry Rindt, George Rindt, Helen Woodin, Howard Rindt, John "Max" Rindt and Alice Roberts Kerans.
Her maternal grandparents were Orrie J. and Eleanor McBride Burgoyne & her aunts and uncles were Helen Palmer, Stella Cornwell, Eva Burgoyne, Willard Burgoyne, and Glen Burgoyne
Mother's mother-in-law Myrtle Meacham Anderson and father-in-law Verlin B. Anderson, Sr. are also here.
