FLANAGAN -- Kimberly R. Anderson, 46, of 215 N. Jackson St., Flanagan, formerly of Lexington, died at 1 p.m. Monday (July 31, 2006) at her residence.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Church of Christ, Uniting (Disciples of Christ), Lexington, with the Rev. Jan Proeber officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Calvert & Musselman Funeral Home, Lexington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kiersten J. Anderson College Fund in care of Flanagan State Bank, 124 S. Main St., Flanagan, IL 61740.

She was born Sept. 27, 1959, in Bloomington, the daughter of Donald R. and C. Joy Huff Lawson. She married Thomas L. Anderson on Dec. 31, 1999, in Eureka Springs, Ark. He survives.

Also surviving is her father, Donald Lawson, Lexington; a son, Jacob R. Walker, Lexington; two daughters, Brittany A. (Scott) Allen, Colfax, and Kiersten J. Anderson, at home; two stepsons, Christopher L. Anderson, Bloomington, and Justin L. Anderson, Lexington; a stepdaughter, Micheal K. Anderson, Indiana; a brother, Douglas A. (Mitzi) Lawson, Danvers; a granddaughter, Shelby Rae Allen; and a step-granddaughter, Caitlyn Lucille Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

She was a member of Church of Christ, Uniting (Disciples of Christ), Lexington.

Kim worked at Deluxe Checks, Bloomington, for many years. After Deluxe Checks closed, she worked for Bridgestone Firestone, Normal, and then moving on to the McLean County Law & Justice Center, Bloomington. She always loved the people she worked with.

She had many interests including gardening, auctions, antiques, Longaberger Baskets and any kind of festival. She also loved to bead with her good friend Laura.

To all who knew her she was a very loving and caring person. She had many many friends. Some of her special ones, Sherrell Jones; Curt and Rita Morrison; Denny and Janet Robinson; Lee and Delores Russoe; and Sharon Diamond. She loved spending time with Janie and Grace. She was truly a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
